Pijus and Jonas Interview Express

Pijus and Jonas from Lithuanian Young Falcon union board will participate in “Together for Diversity” international summer camp of Esplais Catalans. They begin our first round of international Express interviews to our partners of T4D camps! Let’s meet them!

Pijus (P): I’m Pijus Serbenta, 23 years old, I’m member of Lithuanian Young Falcon union board. Our mission is to make a world much better place for children and youth.

Jonas (J): I’m Jonas Spruogis, 21 years old, I’m member of Lithuanian Young Falcon union board. Our mission is to make a world to much better place for children and youth.

1. What do you think when you listen the word esplai?

P: It reminds me of one song, that I heard in last summer, when Esplac delegation attended our camp. I do not know the song name but the words is “Barges bargada lo lo lo” This is the most representative thing of esplac. It also makes me smile.
J: It reminds me of one song, that I heard in last summer, when Esplac delegation attended our camp. It’s called: “L’energia de l’esplai” I think. And all fun and crazy memories from summer camp.

 2. What games did you play when you were a baby?

P: I do not remember exactly, but what I remember that was old, good game: “hide and seek”
J: There was a lot of crazy games, usually it took part in stadium. My favorite was called “12 sticks”. Main goal is to hide as fast as possible and then using your stealth mode trying to steal 12 sticks from leader. It was really fun game, because you had to be invisible and sometimes you just sit in the bushes for 15 minutes, waiting for the right moment.

3. And now, what games do you play in your free time?

P: Volleyball, Table Tennis and fusball.
J: Football, Volleyball, Tennis. Really love football by the way  🙂

4. Name one book you would you like to suggest

P: Heroin. By Melvin Burgess.
J: The Alchemist. By Paulo Coelho.

5. Name one website you visit every day

P: It’s facebook.
J: Sadly it’s facebook.

6. What do you like the most in your association?

P: Being with friends and that incredible feeling to be a part of big and friendly organization and see how you progressively becoming an example to new members.
J: Family sense. It’s the place where you are always welcome and want to be there.

7. And what less?

P: I think that there is no such thing. Our organization is just perfect. For me of course.
J: We have so many plans, but so less time to do them.

8. How do you imagine T4D Camp?

P: First thing that I really adore, that camp is taking place in Catalonia. This is my loveliest place. My image of this camp is: a lot of happy and smiling faces, great memories, unforgettable information, new friends and most likely – amazing summer.
J: I’m really looking forward to this camp and imagine it like a big energy bulb. How the weather will be great, people will be awesome and all of activities will be unforgettable.

9. How would you like to contribute to the T4D?

P: I am willing to help organizing activities, playing with everyone on village and keep the good atmosphere in campsite.
J: I will give it all it takes, to make this camp as good as possible.

10. What do you think you can learn about Diversity in T4D?

P: I hope to gain as much new information as possible, also learn new methods of learning. Hope to get practical news which I could use in my daily life.
J: I really want to look to Diversity from your perspective, explore new methods of learning, bring all new information to our organization. I think there will be a lot of great and useful information about Diversity as well.
